Mayara de Sá Pinto

In her final year of her PhD in Linguistics, Mayara is investigating language acquisition by adults and children in the preschool phase, seeking to understand the cognitive mechanisms that allow the acquisition of temporal morphemes linked to verbs. Her thesis project, for which she received a Capes ProEx grant (2019 to 2022), is in the Language, Mind and Brain research line of the postgraduate course in Linguistics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. In 2021 and 2022, she developed part of her research at the LaPsyDé laboratory (Laboratory for the Psychology of Child Development and Education - Umr Cnrs 8240), where she completed her sandwich doctorate, funded by Capes, at the University Paris Cité Sorbonne.
